Redkach apologized to Usyk and made a special promise after defeating Joshua

The Ukrainian decided to stop criticizing the champion.

On Saturday, August 20, in Saudi Arabia in Jeddah at the Super Dome arena, a boxing evening took place from the promotional company Matchroom Boxing, where the main fight was the long-awaited rematch between Alexander Usik and Anthony Joshua. Our champion was also successful in the rematch, allowing him to retain the titles.

Ukrainian boxer Ivan Redkach shared his impressions of Usyk’s victory, leaving a message for him.

Despite the fact that Redkach called Usyk a clown for the national image at the last press conference and bet 70 thousand dollars on Joshua’s victory, Ivan congratulated his compatriot on his victory. Moreover, Redkach promised that he would not hate Usyk anymore.

“Congratulations, Yusik! It was a great fight! Sorry for hating you, I won’t do it again. I admit my guilt! Clever girl,” wrote Ivan Redkach on his Twitter page.
