Usyk: Joshua rushed one of my teammates

The Briton got a few minutes of “glory” after the match.

On Saturday, August 20, in Saudi Arabia in Jeddah at the Super Dome arena, a boxing evening took place from the promotional company Matchroom Boxing, where the main fight was the long-awaited rematch between Alexander Usik and Anthony Joshua.

The Ukrainian defeated his opponent by split decision, causing an emotional outburst in the Briton. Joshua returned to the ring and said a lot.

Usyk commented on Joshua’s behavior with emotion.

“I didn’t feel anything. He has emotions, everything is fine. You need to talk to him a little. I don’t want to be proud. I want to humble myself, and I’m doing it. Pride kills .lowers, the Lord raises.”

Alexander reported that the Briton got into a fight with a member of his team.

“I respect Joshua. I respect this man. But now he’s a bit emotional, I saw that he threw himself at someone in my team. If he wants to fight with his fists, I don’t advise him to do it, because I have half of the team – streetfighters. I have 20 fights now. Some of my guys have 25 fights, but on the street. 25 fights, 25 knockouts – they won them all,” Usyk said at a press conference after the rematch with Joshua.
