The former football player was noted for conscientious performance of official duties
Former midfielder of Dynamo Kyiv and the Ukrainian national team Alexander Aliev received a certificate for conscientious performance of official duties. The soldier was awarded by the acting commander of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant-General Alexander Pavlyuk.
“Nicely! I serve the Ukrainian people!” Aliyev wrote on his Instagram page.
From the beginning of the war, Aliyev decided to join the ranks of the defense and defend Ukraine from Russian troops. Now Alexander serves in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Early on the morning of February 24, Russia launched rocket and air strikes on most Ukrainian cities and then launched a full-scale military invasion. Ukraine has been resisting the aggressor for the 181st day.
