Fury: I’m giving you seven days to raise money to fight Usyk

If Tyson’s financial request is not confirmed before September 1, the boxer will not return to the ring

WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury stated that he would wait until September 1 to confirm his financial requests for a unification fight with the holder of the WBA / WBO / IBF / IBO heavyweight titles Oleksandr Usyk. Otherwise, the Briton will not return to the ring.

“I appeal to everyone who is interested in holding this fight. I’m giving you seven days until September 1st to raise the money. If not, thank you very much, it was great, I’m retired.

Earlier it was reported that Fury instructed his co-promoter Frank Warren to organize the next fight for the unification of all heavyweight belts with Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk.

Earlier, Usyk’s promoter, Alexander Krasyuk, denied that the fight with Fury would be held on December 17 in Saudi Arabia. According to him, negotiations are ongoing.

According to the Daily Mail, the venue for the fight will be the capital of Saudi Arabia – Riyadh. The total honorary fund is 125 million pounds. They want to fight on the eve of the 2022 FIFA World Cup final in Qatar.

In July, Tyson said that he would not be satisfied with the amount of 200 million pounds. According to him, he will return to the ring for 500 million pounds.

Immediately after the rematch victory over Joshua Usyk called out WBC champion Tyson Fury to fight. Following the results of all twelve rounds, Usyk defeated Joshua by a split decision of the judges.
