Athletes Erokhin and Ivanov re-disqualified for anti-doping rule violation

Russian athletes Igor Erokhin and Alexander Ivanov walkers have been found guilty of using a banned substance/method, which is an anti-doping rule violation, according to the website of the Athletics Integrity Unit (AIU), an independent athletics body.

Both athletes have previously been sanctioned for anti-doping rule violations. Ivanov was suspended for 2 years, the term is counted from August 25, his results were canceled from May 6, 2012. The athlete has already served a 2-year suspension for the first offense.

Erokhin, who had previously been banned for life, was again found guilty of an anti-doping rule violation.
