World Cup 2022 will be held in Poland and Slovenia
Men’s national volleyball team of Ukraine announced the application for the 2022 World Cup.
Setter Vladislav Didenko, finisher Vitaliy Kucher and blocker Andrey Rogozhin were outside the national team. Diagonal Dmitry Vietsky had previously left the national team camp due to injury.

Diagonal: Vasily Tupchiy;
Libero: Denis Fomin, Gorden Brova, Dmitry Kanaev;
Central blockers: Maxim Drozd, Yuri Semenyuk, Vladimir Ostapenko;
Players: Oleg Plotnitsky, Timofey Poluyan, Yevgeny Kisylyuk, Ilya Kovalev, Oleg Shevchenko.
The 2022 Men’s Volleyball World Championship will take place from August 26 to September 11 in Poland and Slovenia. Ukraine will play in Group A with Serbia, Tunisia and Puerto Rico.
The blue-yellows will play the first match of the group stage on August 27 with Serbia. Next, Ukraine is waiting for a match with Tunisia (August 29) and Puerto Rico (August 31).
Recall that Ugis Krastiņš’s team took fourth place in the Golden Euroleague in June. In the match for third place, the blue-yellows dramatically ceded to Croatia.
