Gusev, Korovashkov and Kharchenko won Ageev Cup gold medals in rowing and canoeing

On the second day of competition in the Ageev Brothers Cup and Olympic champions Yuri Postrigai and Alexander Dyachenko in kayaking and canoeing, athletes battled for medals in 36 final races.

In the single kayak 350m (SUPERSKILL) final, the European Championship bronze medalist was won by a Russian Oleg Gusev with a result of 1 minute 10.216 seconds. Second place went to Belarusian world champion Dmitry Natynchik (1:11.213). The third was the world champion from Russia Artem Kuzakhmetov (1.16.456).

Kuzakhmetov won the mixed kayak-two the day before at a distance of 200 meters in the 19+ category. One of the leaders of the Russian national team twice became the winner of the Ageev Brothers Cup-2022.

In the women’s single canoe at the SUPERSKILL distance, the gold went to the Russian women’s world championship winner Daria Kharchenko – 1 minute 35.956 seconds. Silver was won by Belarusian Yulia Trushkina (1:36.531), bronze – Marina Gureeva (1:36.656).

In the single kayak final at the same distance, the victory was won by a three-time Olympic medalist from the Belarusian team Marina Litvinchuk – 1 minute 20.450 seconds. Silver was won by Belarusian Vladislava Skriganova (1.22.075), bronze was won by Russian champion Maria Medvedeva (1.22.090).

In the final race of the men’s individual canoe at a distance of 350 meters, the Olympic bronze medalist from Russia won with a result of 1 minute 18.084 seconds Alexei Korovashkov . Belarusian World Championship bronze medalist Maxim Petrov became the second, he showed the result of 1.18.609. Four-time world champion Mikhail Pavlov (1:19.854) finished third.

Competitions are held on the Moscow Rowing Channel from August 25 to 28.
