Matchroom Boxing CEO: Wilder vs. Joshua fight bigger than Usyk-Fury fight

Frank Smith imagines the top heavyweight fights.

Matchroom Boxing CEO Frank Smith spoke about the potential heavyweight fights.

According to the functionary, the fight between Anthony Joshua and Deontay Wilder is bigger than the fight for the undisputed heavyweight title between Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury.

“I’ve already said that Deontay Wilder vs. Anthony Joshua, with or without the belt, in my opinion, is bigger than Usyk-Fury. I give one hundred percent that Joshua would be interested in a fight with Wilder. No he shied away from challenges.

Anthony immediately took revenge after losing to Andy Ruiz. He also had an immediate rematch after losing to Oleksandr Usyk. Joshua was better this time against Usyk.”

“Anthony still has a lot to give to this sport. He’s 32 years old, he’s still in peak physical condition. In the fight with Usyk, he looked good and showed himself to be great,” Boxing 247 quotes Smith.

It was previously known when and where Usyk-Fury might take place.
