Alexey Yufimov, Igor Obraztsov, Artem Fedotov and Ilfat Sadeev, representing the Ulyanovsk region, won gold in the 4×100 m relay at the Spartakiad athletics tournament.
The athletes covered the distance in 39.84 seconds. Silver was won by the Krasnodar Territory team (Dmitry Khomutov, Danila Ten, Ruslan Perestyuk and Dmitry Timkov) – 39.94, bronze – by the Moscow team (Egor Gryaznov, Andrey Evteev, Vladislav Shemulinkin and Yaroslav Tkalich) – 40.45.
Spartakiad athletics competitions are held from August 25 to 28 at the stadium. Elena Elesina in Chelyabinsk.
