Athletistic/ Others. On August 28, Kenyan cyclist Sule Kangangi died in an accident during the Vermont Overland Cycling Race in Vermont, USA.
Kangangi, 33, lost control on a dirt section of the track. The cyclist’s injuries were fatal.
“Sule is our captain, friend, brother. He is also father, husband and son. Sule was a true hero. Instead of leading our pack, he will now guide us like a guiding star as we move forward in achieving his dream .” Kanganga team members wrote on one of the social networks.
In 2017, Sule Kangangi took 3rd place in the Tour of Rwanda, he repeatedly won races on dirt roads, participated in the development of cycling in his native Kenya.
