110m hurdles world champion Sergei Shubenkov in a conversation with journalists summed up the results of the All-Russian Spartakiad of the strongest.
On Sunday, Shubenkov won the Spartakiad with a score of 13.30 seconds. Anatoly Kiselev (13.74) finished second in the race, Artem Makarenko (13.79) took third place.
— The season was special, interesting. They said it would be such a passerby. Well, that’s pretty much how it happened. What we wanted in training, we tried. We looked at what came out of it during competitions.
But I envy Masha (Lasitskene ) and Angelique (Sidorova )! They are two beauties. Masha jumps – 2 meters, Angelica – 4.90 m, it’s like I just ran 13:00. Somehow they can do it, but I can’t. I envy them. 1:30 p.m. now, in principle, a good result, considering what I put today. Ran really dirty, but in fun.
