Confident victory for the blue-yellows
Ukrainian women’s volleyball team won the third victory in the selection for European Championship 2023.
The blue-yellows beat Portugal 3-0. The Ukrainians competently distributed their forces for the entire match, and the blue-yellows won the third game with a score of 25:8.
Recall that in the first round Ukraine beat Cyprus – 3:0, and in the second – Hungary (3:2). The Ukrainian team will play the next match on September 4 with Portugal. The Ukrainians will finish the group stage with games against Hungary (September 7) and Cyprus (September 10).
Recall that the women’s volleyball team of Ukraine failed to reach the Final Four of the Golden Euroleague following the results of the group round. The blue-yellows lost to Romania in additional indicators, despite the fact that they were ahead of the Romanians in terms of the number of points scored.
