Minister of Sports of the Russian Federation Oleg Matytsin said that Russian figure skaters will take part in an ice show in the fall and will also hold a series of masterclasses in Mongolia.
The minister said this during a videoconference meeting with a Mongolian delegation led by the chairman of that country’s State Committee for Physical Culture and Sports, Zhargalsaikhan Dorzhsurengiin.
— In autumn, Russian figure skaters will participate in a large-scale ice show in Ulaanbaatar and hold a series of master classes for Mongolian athletes. There is an understanding in the professional interaction between the two countries, it will continue to serve as the basis for productive relations between Mongolia and Russia in the development of sports, said the press service of the department quoting Matytsin.
Matytsin also invited the Mongolian delegation to participate in the Paralympic Summer Games “We are together. Sports” in Sochi, complex competitions “Games of Friendship” in Kazan, Open Student Games in Yekaterinburg in 2023 and the first technological competitions “Games of the Future”, which will be held in Kazan in 2024.
In 2022, the Mongolian team participated in the International Asian Children’s Games in Vladivostok, winning 11 medals.
