Representatives of the All-Russian Athletics Federation (VFLA) made a corresponding statement. A doping test carried out on an athlete on January 29, 2022 showed the presence of meldonium in her body, the use of which is prohibited for athletes.
The Alexa ban begins on February 18, 2022 and ends on February 17, 2025. All sports results achieved by Mukhametshina since the date of the doping test will be void.
