The Ukrainians won a gold at the European Championships in judo

In Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria, the continental championship in men and women ended.

The Ukrainian team won an award at the European Judo Championship which ended in Bulgaria. The victory in his weight category up to 66 kg was won by Bogdan Yadov.

It should be noted that three more of our athletes lost the battle for the bronze medals – Gevorg Mankuyan, Sergey Krivchach and Yakov Khammo.

In the medal standings, the Ukrainian team took ninth place, while a year before our team finished 14th. In 2021, the Ukrainians also won an award – the silver of Daria Beloded.

Artem Lesyuk (up to 60 kg) – (one win, two losses);
