American football is out of competition in the new international sports rating from Forbes.

American football sports clubs continue to lead the Forbes international ranking of the most important sports teams. And this year, the dominance was even more total.

Topping the list, as a year earlier, is the Dallas Cowboys team. The cost, which at this time is estimated at 8 billion dollars. Note that the “cowboys” have topped the ranking since 2016.

Second and third place also went to NFL representatives. New England Patriots ($6.4 billion) and Los Angeles Rems ($6.2 billion), respectively.

And only after that there is a place on the list for representatives of other sports. Fourth place is shared by the New York Yankees (baseball) and New York Giants (American football) – $6 billion each. And the New York Knicks (basketball) and Chicago Bears (American football) shared sixth place – $5.8 billion each.

At the same time, there is no place for representatives of “classic” football even in the top ten of the list. Real Madrid is 13th with a $5.1bn valuation and Barcelona is 15th with a $5bn valuation.

Manchester United, according to experts, is worth $4.6 billion and is in 19th place. In addition, the top 50 are also lucky to get: Liverpool, Bayern, Manchester City, Paris Saint-Germain and Chelsea.

At the same time, Chelsea, which survived a change of ownership this spring, fell by 100 million and dropped from 25th to 50th place with an estimated $3.1 billion.

We also note that the value of the most expensive team in the NHL, the New York Rangers, is estimated at $2 billion.

In total, according to Forbes, the 50 most expensive sports teams in the world together are worth $222.7 billion, which is 30% more than a year ago. This growth is the largest in the last 5 years.

Representatives of American football also contributed to it. The fact is that the NFL signed a new media agreement that brought the league $112 billion and will be valid until 2032.
