During the 2022 World Cup, our volleyball players were even in the top 15
Men’s national team of Ukraine volleyball takes 16th place in the ranking of the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB). it best result in history our team.
Last week, after defeating the Netherlands in the 1/8 finals of the 2022 World Cup, Ukraine even entered the top 15 teams for some time. However, after the defeat in the World Cup quarterfinals from Slovenia (1:3), our team dropped to 16th position.
The top 3 in the FIVB rankings are Poland, Italy and France.
Recall that the Ukrainian men’s volleyball team reached the quarterfinals at the 2022 World Championship. This is the best result in the history of the Ukrainian team.
The 2022 World Champions were the Italian team, which defeated the Polish team in the final in four games.
