Experienced striker returns to the Premier League
Wolverhampton signed a contract until the end of the season with the striker Diego Costa after the forward received a work permit in England.
Earlier it was reported that the club successfully filed an appeal against Costa’s refusal to issue a work permit in England.
Diego Costa is to replace striker Sasha Kalajdzic, who was seriously injured on his debut for Wolves. In 2014-17, the Spaniard already played in the Premier League for Chelsea. He has 52 goals in 89 games for the Blues.
The 33-year-old forward left Atlético Mineiro in January and has been without the club ever since. For the Brazilian club, the footballer played 19 matches and scored five goals.
Wolves are 14th in the Premier League. The seventh round of the championship of England was postponed due to mourning in the UK. In the next round, the Wolves will host Manchester City on September 17 at home.
He’s back. And part of the pack.
