Former world champion in three weight categories, Vasyl Lomachenko, will face Jemaine Ortiz in his next fight.
This was officially announced by the promotion company Top Rank.

A 12-round lightweight fight between Ukrainian and American boxers will take place on October 29. The opponents will fight at Madison Square Garden in New York, USA.

Lomachenko fought his last fight in December 2021, defeating Richard Commey by unanimous decision.
Ortiz defeated former world champion Jamel Herring on points in May.
Earlier, promoter Bob Arum said that if Vasily Lomachenko succeeds in the fight with Jemaine Ortiz, he wants to arrange a duel between the Ukrainian and the winner of the Haney-Kambosos rematch.
