Promoter Lomachenko reacted to Vasily’s return to the ring

Bob Arum noticed the actions of the Ukrainian boxer.

The head of the Top Rank promotional company, Bob Arum, commented on the return to the ring of the former Ukrainian lightweight world champion Vasily Lomachenko.

According to the functionary, the Ukrainian boxer suspended his career to defend his home country.

“Vasily Lomachenko does honor to his country and boxing. When his country needed him, Vasily didn’t hesitate. We’re very happy that he is safe and will fight again at the Hulu Theater in Madison Square Garden.”

Arum also spoke about the Ukrainian’s upcoming fight against undefeated American Jemaine Ortiz.

“Jemaine Ortiz is a young, hungry, undefeated fighter. He understands that a victory against a living legend like Lomachenko will change his life,” Arum told Boxing Scene.

It will be remembered that Lomachenko and Ortiz will fight on October 29 at the Hulu Theater in Madison Square Garden in New York, USA.
