“The date of the hearing is known. It remains to wait for the verdict. And then WADA will decide what to do.
We follow this process very closely. Last month, I wanted it all to end quickly. The hearing is scheduled for very soon. We’ll see,” Banka told Reuters.
At the 2022 Olympics in women’s singles, Russian figure skater Kamila Valieva took only 4th place. The athlete was charged with doping. The fact is that Valieva’s test, carried out in December 2021, turned out to be positive.
The victory at the Beijing Games was won by Anna Shcherbakova, the second was Alexandra Trusova.
