Russian occupiers continue to destroy Ukraine’s infrastructure. Our country’s sports facilities are no exception. According to the Ministry of Youth and Sports, 53 sports and 18 youth facilities were damaged or completely destroyed by the actions of the Russian occupiers.
The Donetsk, Luhansk, Kharkiv and Kyiv regions suffered the most from Putin’s army invasion, and the Chernihiv, Zhytomyr, Kherson and Kyiv regions also received devastation.
At the same time, the ministry clarified that the list is not complete, and is likely to increase significantly after the liberation of our country’s temporarily occupied territories from the Rashists.
“From the beginning of a comprehensive war and until now, Russian troops have mercilessly destroyed Ukraine’s infrastructure: schools, hospitals, sports facilities and parks. Youth facilities; 41 sports facilities and 17 youth facilities were damaged .
It should be noted that the list of destroyed or damaged sports and youth infrastructure facilities is not complete, as part of the territories of these regions are still under the temporary occupation of the army of the Russian Federation, and the demina continues in part of the territories of the Kyiv and Chernihiv regions.
