England and Germany draw incredible six-goal draw

Southgate’s team made a comeback from 0:2, but did not hold the winning score

England at the legendary Wembley drew with Germany (3:3) in the final round match of group 3 Division A of the League of Nations.

At the beginning of the second half, Ilkay Gundogan converted a penalty and put the German team ahead. In the 67th minute, Kai Havertz extended Germany’s lead.

England did not give up and bounced back with the efforts of Luke Shaw and Mason Mount, and in the 83rd minute they took the lead in everything – Harry Kane was accurate from the penalty mark. Germany equalized four minutes later after Havertz’s accurate shot.

England remained unbeaten in the group stage and finished bottom of Quartet 3 with three points. In the next Nations League season, the English team will play in Division B.

Germany finished the group stage in third position. The winner of Quartet 3 is Italy, which will play in the play-offs of the League of Nations.
