Three athletes and a coach Russian team on cycling received summonses to the military registration and enlistment office, the president of the Russian Cycling Federation told Vyacheslav Ekimov .
On September 21, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the start of a partial mobilization in the country.
“Three athletes and the national team coach received subpoenas from us,” Ekimov told .
The athletes are not the leaders of the Russian team, the coach does not lead any of the teams. One of the athletes, after receiving the summons, took the relevant documents to the military registration and enlistment office and no questions arose, the second athlete is a full-time student who asked the necessary documents.
For all four, a stay of mobilization is requested from the Ministry of Sports.
