Alla Shishkina – about the departure of Davydova: “It’s a complete surprise. I doubt any of the girls know about it.

Triple Olympic champion in synchronized swimming groups Alla Shishkina responded to information on the departure of the five-time Olympic synchronized swimming champion Anastasia Davydova From Russia.

Earlier, reported that Davydova left Russia and was not coming back. The Russian Olympic Committee (ROC) announced on Tuesday that it had no information about Davydova’s departure and that she had resigned as the organization’s general secretary.

– I am really shocked. For all of us, it’s a total surprise. I doubt any of the girls know that. And it seems to me that in this situation they will not say anything, even if they have information. So now, apparently, we have to wait for Davydova herself to announce the reasons for her decision,” RT Shishkina quotes.

Davydova won gold medals at the 2004, 2008 and 2012 Olympics. The 39-year-old ex-athlete was elected ROC Secretary General in May 2014, the same year synchronized swimming center Anastasia Davydova was open.
