Radionova thinks that during the lull in figure skating, new stars are growing

“It seems to me that there is a kind of calm in figure skating now. As they say, the calm before the storm. Maybe new stars in figure skating are growing now. For example, Ilya Malinin is a very good single skater, and it will be interesting to watch him, because he was the first to perform the quadruple axel. It’s always sad when the leaders leave, because the public and the fans love them. But they are replaced by young stars, who then become no less popular, ”said Radionova.

Elena is a bronze medalist at the 2015 World Championships, silver medalist at the European Championships in 2015 and 2016, silver medalist at the World Team Championships in 2015 and 2017 and winner of the 2017 Universiade in individual skating. Radionova ended its career in 2020.
