The Russian Figure Skating Federation (FFKKR) has requested a deferral through the Ministry of Sports of the Russian Federation for existing Russian figure skaters Dmitry Aliyev and Makara Ignatova who had already been called to the editorial board. Aliyev, 23, is a winner and silver medalist of the European Championships, Russian champion. At the 2018 Olympics, the figure skater took seventh place.
Ignatov, 22, won silver at the 2021 Russian Championship, the athlete also took third place at the Grand Prix series stage and won the Russian Cup final twice.
