TC2000: How many Push to Pass will there be in the 200 Kilometers of Buenos Aires?

The power button or “push to pass” will have a record number of activations over the weekend.

The power button, or “push to pass” used by the TC2000 will again have a related role. This time, it is on the special date of the 200k of Buenos Aires which will be held this weekend at circuit 9 of the Buenos Aires racetrack. Since the completion of Rafaela, the category freely applied the power button system with a certain number of shots available to the pilot from the qualifying round. It gave very good results in that competition, and not so much in other parts of San Nicolás and San Juan Villicum. This time, the concept will be retained so that the pair can use the extra power when considering it, from the Classification.

According to the RPP of 200k of BA, regarding “PUSH TO PASS, each participating combination in total can be used in the classification and/or in the qualifying sprint and/or in the final competition thirty (30) activations of extra power ( Push to Pass).

For the qualifying Sprint and the Final test, this extra power can become effective after thirty (30) seconds have passed from the start of the competition. If the start of the competition needs to be repeated, the procedure will be the same.

In TEI 2 (Invited Training Session 2) each participant will have five (5) extra power activations (Push to Pass) with a duration of 20 seconds to find out their power.

Configuration parameters will be announced on Saturday, October 1, 2022 at 10:00 am
