MotoGP: Bastianini took the lead on Friday at Le Mans

MotoGP had its first day of action at the French Grand Prix at Le Mans, where Enea Bastianini was the fastest in Ducati.

In the first training session, Pol Espargaró was at the top of the leaderboard with a time of 1m31s771. Alex Rins was second with a difference of 10 hundredths and Francesco Bagnaia was third with a difference of 122 thousandths. While the best five were completed by Fabio Quartararo and Aleix Espargaró.

For his part, in the second and final test on Friday, Bastianini showed up with the Gresini Racing Ducati after timing 1m31s148. She left Aleix Espargaró as escort at 202 thousandths and third Rins with a difference of 29 hundredths. For his part, Johann Zarco was fourth and Bagnaia fifth.

The MotoGP French Grand Prix classification will start on Saturday from 9.10.
