Bagnaia is two points away from its first MotoGP title

Italian Francesco Bagnaia, representing the Ducati team, became the winner of the penultimate 19th round of the MotoGP World Championship – the Malaysian Grand Prix.

His compatriot and teammate Enea Bastianini finished second, 0.270 seconds behind. Reigning world champion Fabio Quartararo (Yamaha) completes the top three (+2.773).

With 258 points, Bagnaia is ahead of Quartararo (235) in the general classification before the last stage. For the first title in the senior MotoGP category of his career, the Italian has only two points left to score.

The last race of the series will take place in Valencia on November 6.
