The first Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix was owned by champion Max Verstappen after deflecting pressure from Charles Leclerc. The podium members were exhausted after the competition.

“It was a difficult Grand Prix, very physical, but we kept it exciting until the end. I was so excited to win in Miami, it was a great Sunday for us,” Verstappen said after the competition.

For his part, Leclerc said: “FPhysically it is very difficult. We had some problems with the moderate tires and the race became more difficult from there. In the end, I became more competitive, I saw that I could catch up with Verstappen, but they did better ”.
He added: “NWe have to keep pushing, improvements are very important. From now on I think we will take a step forward and that is the goal ”.
In turn, Carlos Sainz maintains: “I had to drive a bit and take control of the race. It was a decent result to get to the podium. It’s not an easy race, the car slipped, but we are where we belong ”.
