Gerhard Berger ensured that the seven-time world champion combines the virtues of Ayrton Senna and Alain Prost.

Gerhard Berger has been able to compete in his sporting career with great numbers from F1.
“Hamilton and Senna, the best”
The Austrian made a comparison in an interview he gave in recent hours for Motosport.com between Lewis Hamilton, Alain Prost and Ayrton Senna, two riders with whom he shared the track and knew up close.
“For me, after 45 years I’ve been around, Hamilton and Senna are the two best drivers I’ve ever seen.“said Berger.
And he added: “Senna is still my number one, she has a different level of charm and personality, but in sports, Senna is as good as Lewis.”.
A mix between the two
Concerning the virtues of Hamilton, Berger put him between Senna and Prost because he met the conditions of both. “For me, it’s brilliant the way he sometimes gives, not to avoid crashing, but to get it back in a different way. With all his experience, he was calm, he used his opportunities all the time. Except for Silverstone, everything else is perfect in 2021. I put Lewis in the middle between Prost and Senna”.
Finally, regarding Hamilton’s level in 2022, with no expected start, Berger opined: “This year, it has to adapt in a different way, because maybe 2021 doesn’t need that kind of aggressiveness. It all depends on how good the set is.”.
