1000 Millas Sport started in Patagonia

At the exhibition at the San Carlos de Bariloche Civic Center, the action of the 1000 Millas Sport began; Now the first stage is disputed.

The most important race in Latin America in the Historic Sports Cars category started today with the traditional symbolic start at the Bariloche Civic Center. There, the participants carried out the corresponding technical verification of the vehicles, allowing children and adults to have the opportunity to appreciate the incredible classic cars up close.

The competition will take the participants to the most famous points of our southern Andes, from San Carlos de Bariloche to Villa La Angostura, San Martín de los Andes and Junín de los Andes, along the beautiful road of the 7 Lakes.

For three days, competitors will put their skills on the line through a series of tests in Bariloche, with its epicenter at the Llao Llao Hotel & Resort, while enjoying the beautiful views of Patagonia. Organized by the Club de Automóviles Sport, the 1000 Millas Sport is included in the FIVA World Calendar (Fédération Internationale des Véhicules Anciens) and is a marking date for the National Historic Sport Championship administered by the ACA. In turn, it is part of the Triple Crown, with the Rally de las Bodegas in Mendoza and the Rally de la Montaña in San Luis and Córdoba.

Participants will depart daily from Hotel Llao Llao. On the first day they will go through the following route: Dina Huapi, El Santuario, Villa La Angostura, Camino de los 7 lagos, Paso Cardenal Samoré, and then they will return to Dos Valles Country Club.

On the second day of the competition, the trip covers the city of Bariloche, El Mangrullo, Alicurá, Junín de los Andes, San Martín de Los Andes, Camino de los 7 Lagos, ending at the Hotel Correntoso. On the third and final day, the competitors will start the tour at Cerro Catedral, pass through Embalse Alicurá, Villa Llanquin, Dina Huapi and end at the Baqueanos Complex.
