Erejomovich and Balbi dominated the 1000 Millas Sport in Patagonia

The second episode combines Llao Llao with Junín de los Andes; The mechanical gems traveled the path of the Seven Lakes.

The second stage of the 33rd edition of the 1000 Millas Sport, the most important race in Latin America in the Historic Sports Cars category, took place in Patagonia.

The participants, as every day, started from the Llao Llao Hotel at 7 in the morning and traveled to the province of Neuquén. In a journey of more than 570 kilometers, the competitors covered Junín de Los Andes and San Martín de Los Andes, passing through the beautiful Camino de los 7 Lagos.

On this day, the first break was held at the Mangrullo Fly space, located on the banks of the Limay River. Later, lunch was held at the new Spring Creek fishing lodge complex, in the Chimehuín river valley of Neuquén province. With a beautiful view of the Lanín volcano, the competitors enjoyed the area’s haute cuisine.

The first place in the partial classification of the second day was taken by Daniel Erejomovich, together with co-driver Fabio Balbi, who won 186.30 points in an AC 16/80 Comp. Sport from 1938. Second place went to Manuel Elicabe and Pedro Falconi, with 280.14 points, in a 1938 BMW 328. In third place were Alejandro López and Gabriel Gourovich in a 1929 Alfa Romeo 6C 1750 SS, with 289.90 points.
