Ukrainian racer Alexander Bondarev entered the top 10 stars of world karting in 2022

He is only 13 years old

The authoritative specialized portal Formulascout has made its rating of the top 10 stars of the world karting of the outgoing year. The representative of Ukraine, 13-year-old Alexander Bondarev, also got into the rating.

The portal specialists refused to rank by places, simply publishing the top ten athletes who distinguished themselves by achievements in 2022 and who should be followed in the future. Bondarev himself became one of the two youngest athletes in the top ten. The second is his peer Enzo Tarvanichkul from Thailand.

“Karting is the launching pad for most racers before moving on to more established and representative series, so it’s always good to watch this discipline to see who will be able to reach the forefront of world motorsport in the future. Therefore, we publish in random order a list of the best young karting drivers of the outgoing year, ”the compilers of the rating noted.

As for the choice of Bondarev, then, according to experts, the selection of races for the Ukrainian was too small, due to a serious accident in which Alexander left at the European Championship in May.

“Prior to this situation, Bondarev, despite the fact that his country is repulsing the Russian attack, won the WSK SMS title in a very dramatic fight. After the accident, Bondarev spent two months in the hospital, at the end of August he walked without assistance, and a month later he conducted test runs. Bondarev returned to the races at the WSK FC in November, with a good pace, and then the second place in the LeCont Trophy.
