Loeb won the fourth stage of the Dakar rally marathon in the SUV classification, the Macik crew is the best among the trucks

french runner Sebastien Loeb who competes for the Bahrain Raid Xtreme team (Prodrive), won the fourth round of the Dakar Rally Marathon in the off-road category.

The winner covered the distance in 4 hours 11 minutes 34 seconds and was 13 seconds ahead of his compatriot Stefan Peterhansel (Team Audi Sport). The first three winners of the stage were closed by another representative of the Audi team, Spaniard Carlos Sainz Sr. (+01.50). The crew of driver Denis Krotov and navigator Konstantin Zhiltsov showed time outside the top 30. The Russians had the opportunity to perform in the Dakar under the flag of Kyrgyzstan.

In the truck classification, the crew of the MM Technology team led by the Czech Martin Macik once again proved to be the strongest. His Iveco finished in 5:10.23. Martin van den Brink (Eurol Team De Rooy, Iveco) is second, 8 minutes 50 seconds behind the leader. The top-3 was closed by Czech overall leader Ales Loprais (Instaforex Loprais Praga, +9.25).

Spaniard Joan Barreda Bort (Monster Energy JB Team) won the stage in the motorcycle classification by completing the special in 4 hours 28 minutes 18 seconds. Pablo Quintanilla of Chile (Monster Energy Honda Team) finished second, and Skyler Howes of Husqvarna Factory Racing, USA, rounded out the top three.

Frenchman Alexandre Giroud was the best in the MTB standings, and American Mitchell Guthrie was the best in buggy.
