The winner covered the distance in 4 hours 11 minutes 34 seconds and was 13 seconds ahead of his compatriot Stefan Peterhansel (Team Audi Sport). The first three winners of the stage were closed by another representative of the Audi team, Spaniard Carlos Sainz Sr. (+01.50). The crew of driver Denis Krotov and navigator Konstantin Zhiltsov showed time outside the top 30. The Russians had the opportunity to perform in the Dakar under the flag of Kyrgyzstan.

Pablo Quintanilla of Chile (Monster Energy Honda Team) finished second, and Skyler Howes of Husqvarna Factory Racing, USA, rounded out the top three.
Frenchman Alexandre Giroud was the best in the MTB standings, and American Mitchell Guthrie was the best in buggy.
