Kevin Benavides leads the Dakar 2023 in Motorcycle

Stage 10 of the Dakar is held and the Argentine is the new leader of the race. See how each of the categories works.

Ross Branch won the tenth stage of the 2023 Dakar on motorcycles with a time of 1h44m. He left Adrien Van Beveren in escort with a difference of 21s and Michael Docherty third with 30s. While Argentine Kevin Benavides was fourth and Matthias Walkner was fifth.

In the general classifier, Kevin Benavides was on top with a time of 35h46m6s. Skyler Howes was second with a difference of 1m29s and Toby Price was third at 2m10s. While the best five were completed by Van Beveren and Pablo Quintanilla.

Loeb wins again in Cars

Sébastien Loeb continued his streak in Dakar 2023 and this Wednesday he won the tenth stage in Cars. He was accompanied by Ekstrom and Moraes.

Loeb won the tenth stage in a time of 1h48m32s. Ekstrom was second with a difference of 3m4s and Moraes third at 5m22s. While the best five were completed by Nasser Al – Attiyah and Yazeed Al – Rajhi.

Among the Argentines, the best in the classifier was Sebastián Halpern, who finished in 14th place in 12m44s. While Juan Cruz Yacopini finished 16th with a difference of 13m28s.

Overall, Al – Attiyah took the lead with a time of 36h13m37s. Moraes can be found as escort, with a difference of 1h21m34 and third is Loeb in 1h37m23s. Fourth was Giniel De Villiers and fifth was Romain Dumas.

How did Pato Silva do in the tenth stage of the Dakar 2023?

Dakar 2023 had today its Stage 10 for light vehicles between Haradh and Shaybah with a special 114 kilometers, where in the SSV category, the best Argentine was Jeremías González Ferioli and Juan Manuel Silva was finished 15th.

The stage winner in the SSV category was Gerard Farres Guell with a time of 1h58m22s. Second is Michel Goczal with a difference of 55s and third is Eryk Goczal at 1m8s.

For his part, González Ferioli was the best in fifth place in 3m14s. While Nicolás Cavigliasso was 12th in 7m31s and “Pato” Silva was 15th in 9m31s.

Overall, Rokas Baciuska is on top. González Ferioli is in 5th place, Silva 13th and Cavigliasso 17th.

From Baar by trucks

Finally, at trucks, victory was in the hands of Dutchman Pascal de Baar with a time of 2 hours, 9 minutes and 46 seconds. Mitchel Van den Brink finished second in just 22 seconds, Janus Van Kasteren was third in 1 minute and 12 seconds, while the top 5 were completed by Martin Macik and Martin Van den Brink.

The truck standings are now led by Van Kasteren, with a 22-minute lead over Martin Van den Brink and 51 minutes ahead of Martin Macík.
