Turismo Carretera played in the sixth final of the 2022 season to the reefer’s victory.
Turismo Carretera held its sixth final of the year at the Rafaela Autodrome with the victory of Agustín Canapino, followed by Mariano Werner and Esteban Gini.
This is the final
The TC final began with Canapino leading the group, accompanied by Werner, Gini, Benvenuti and Pernía. Later, Lambiris and Catalán Magni defeated De Benedictis and climbed to seventh and eighth places.
In the fourth lap, Catalán Magni counted Lambiris and seventh. Moments later, the Uruguayan regained the spot with the reefer and the latter lost two more spots along with Ebarlín and De Benedictis.
After four laps, Benvenuti had to retire to Torino and the new fourth was Pernía. In turn, Ebarlín overtook Lambiris and took sixth. Then, the Pace Car entered to remove Nolesi’s vehicle, which had lost its way after a collision from Agrelo.
In the 13th lap the final was re-launched where Canapino took the lead after suffering pressure from Werner. Gini was third, Pernía fourth and Ardusso fifth. But the pace didn’t last long, as the competition was neutralized due to multiple mistakes involving Bruno, Landa, Rossi, Spataro and Ledesma.
Then, the riders speeded up again in full with Canapino in the lead, accompanied by Gini, Pernía and Ebarlín. The latter, a turn later, realized “Tanito” in a great maneuver.
It was finally a win for Canapino over Rafaela and he kept 3 million pesos. Second was Werner, third Gini, fourth Ebarlín and finished best five Leonel Pernía. Behind them are Catalán Magni, Lambiris, Ardusso, De Benedictis and Jonatan Castellano.
The next date for Road Tourism is June 26 at Concordia racetrack.
