TC2000 and Top Race spoke exclusively with Carburando about the topic of the moment.

In recent times, opinions have been constantly added to the topic presented at Carburando: “the crack in national motorsports”. As a result of notes published in Escudería Carburando, by TyC Sports, and later exposed and developed on Carburando.com, a series of complaints were registered conspiring against freedom of action in the activity, with crossings of responsibilities and even a certain conspiracy, according to the harsh opinions heard.

After complaints by Javier Ciabattari, Ernesto Bessone and several pilots who expressed themselves on the matter, in the last few hours Hugo Mazzacane, president of the ACTC, spoke to Carburando. And now it’s Alejandro Levy’s turn, one of those responsible for TC2000 and the Top Race, among other categories, with very interesting concepts.

Regarding what Ciabattari said, I like to think he said it because of a state of concern as a team and staff. I don’t share it in the slightest. I believe the CDA, ACA and García Remohí are quietly working for people, but not for categories. We have a direct relationship with CDA members. This has to happen because otherwise we will not be able to work”, Said Levy of Carburando.

In addition, the director added: “We are not just as a category, but the other categories that are under the wing of the CDA. In our case we are planning, since TC2000, Top Race and CarX. Otherwise, if we have planning, we will not be able to achieve the planned goals. Perhaps many think they are not working. We hold a weekly meeting. They care about every category. ”

Taking stock of motorsport, Levy said: “But if one has made a balance as categories in two years now, managing categories doesn’t make it bad. Then, you can discuss whether they put on a show or not, or specific events, but it’s also not the exclusive responsibility of the CDA. The Turismo Pista has 150 cars, the Turismo Nacional has 80 cars, the Top Race 70 cars, the Rally Argentino is having a very good time with new cars with the latest technology. That lets the work be true. Of course there are things that need to be improved. We need to think about 2023 to solve the problems caused by the categories and for the CDA to intervene, but I don’t agree that they don’t work and they don’t care about the situation in motorsport.
