The singer who sued the Australian Grand Prix

Over the weekend, the Formula 1 will run again in Australia after two years due to the Covid-19 pandemic and there is already bad news.

The need for Australian GPs

Singer Robbie Williams has sued the Grand Prix for the last minute cancellation of his show in 2020.

The day before Williams took the stage, the megaphone told people that the entire event had to be canceled due to the progression of the Coronavirus pandemic.

Along with Williams, it took Miley Cyrus and The Veronica’s to sing during the Formula 1 weekend in Australia, but nothing like that happened.

World Touring Melbourne has ruled that the sudden cancellation failed to meet the obligations of the Australian Grand Prix Corporation, The Age reported.

The amount they demand

According to a brief filed with the Supreme Court last week, the tour agency is asking for $ 7,594 million for costs incurred and $ 1,128 million for lost revenue. Additionally, the agency listed the cost of renting the venue, sound and lighting, advertising, legal fees and catering in a total of $ 32,500.

World Touring Melbourne said it had just reported that the concert would be stopped at a teleconference with the Australian Grand Prix and local tour partner Dainty after noon on March 13.

The agency says the notice came just a day before the event began and Williams is scheduled to take the stage.
