Representatives of eight countries will participate in the “Snow Trail” snowmobile rally-raid of the “Silk Way” series

The preliminary list of participants in the international snowmobile rally-raid “Snow Trail” of the “Silk Way” series included 58 participants from eight countries around the world, according to the organizers of the race.

For the first time in its history, the Snow Trail will take place from February 23 to 25, 2023 in Naberezhnye Chelny.

– From now on, the list of declared participants has 58 names. The actual number of athletes may be higher – the application deadline has been extended until the end of the administrative checks and the start of the race.

As of February 22, the list of participants includes representatives from eight countries – Russia, China, Turkmenistan, France, Italy, Britain, Cyprus and Afghanistan. At least 12 foreign riders will start, while the Russian Federation will be represented by riders from 11 regions.

Four pilots will go immediately to the start of the “Snow Trail” under the flag of the People’s Republic of China. Additionally, among them will be the most experienced Hou Hongning and Shen Xin, who have been performing at the Silk Way Rally since 2016 in the One Belt One Road crew on a KAMAZ truck, organizers said in a statement.

Race participants will compete in five classes: Enduro, PRO turbo+, PRO+, PRO turbo, PRO. In total, the riders will cover more than 300 kilometers of sections at high speed.
