In the first practice session at the Sakhir circuit, Perez set the fastest lap in 1 minute 32.758 seconds. The second was the Spanish rider “Aston Martin » Fernando Alonso (+0.438), the third is the reigning Dutch world champion Max Verstappen (+0.617; Red Bull).
Later Friday, the drivers will start the second free practice.
