Fernando Alonso has lost third place due to a 10-second penalty
Pilot Red Bull Sergio Perez won the Grand Prix Saudi Arabia.
The Mexican started from pole, missing Fernando Alonso to the first line. However, then Perez won back the position and brought the race to victory.
Second place went to Sergio’s teammate Red Bull Max Verstappen. The Dutchman started from 15th position, but managed to win the podium, also showing the fastest lap.
Fernando Alonso finished next. However, after the race, the Spaniard received a 10-second penalty for an incorrect stop in the pits earlier. Thus, third place went to George Russell from Mercedes.
In the individual standings, Verstappen remains the leader, who is one point ahead of Perez. Red Bull have doubled in the opening two races of the season and are firmly in the lead in the Constructors’ Championship.
