“I was frustrated, obviously. I didn’t expect”said the Monaco native, after being disqualified from Australian Grand Prix. The same thing happened to him during the first date in Bahrainwhere he had to leave due to mechanical failure.
“In one I was quick and in three I honestly had no plans to overtake, but I wanted to get into space and crash into Lance Stroll, it was a quick decision”the 25-year-old pilot told the media MotorSportafter an accident left him on the outskirts of Melbourne.
Leclerc, who will try to break the losing streak at the Azerbaijan circuit, concluded: “It was very disappointing because the result was that I went home with no points. Right now, instead of thinking about long-term goals, I think the priority is to finish a race without penalties or problems.”.
Verstappen once again proved his dominance in Formula One
After being crowned in the 2022 season, the Dutch driver is first in the general table with 69 points, 15 more than his teammate, Sergio Perez.
Verstappen he won awards in Bahrain and Australia, while in Saudi Arabia he finished in second place, below Checo Pérez.
