Russian rider Roman Rusinov will perform at the Silk Way Rally

Russian racing driver Roman Rousinov will become one of the participants of the Silk Way International Rally, which will be held from July 5 to 15 on the route from Kazan to Moscow through 13 regions of Russia, reports the press service of the G‑Drive Racing team.

— I liked my debut in rally-raid — it was not easy, but interesting. Now, after collecting a large amount of information, we will deliberately prepare for the Silk Road, the main rally-raid start for the G‑Drive Racing team this season. It will be an exciting adventure! said Rusinov.

As part of the preparation for the start, Rusinov, known for his performance in endurance races, as part of the G‑Drive Racing team, took part in the Gold of Kagan Baja in Astrakhan, where he took eighth place among mountain bike crews.

Earlier, Anastasia Nifontova and her co-driver Yekaterina Zhadanova, European rally raid champion in the women’s classification, announced their participation in the Silk Way Rally 2023.

In addition, in mid-February, Dmitry Mordkovich, winner of the Russia-Northern Forest Baja, received a certificate of participation in the race without registration fees.

The full list of participants for the 2023 Silk Way Rally will be released in June when athlete applications close.
