Russian and Israeli racing driver Robert Schwartzman who is competing this season in the GT World Challenge Europe touring car championship with AF Corse, said his main aim was to secure a place in Formula 1.
Schwartzman is a reserve driver for Ferrari and performs under an Israeli license.
– My main goal is to get a place in Formula 1. This year, I’m working hard. I am learning and preparing for endurance races because another part of my dream is to race in a hypercar. Schwartzman is 23 years old. He is the 2019 Formula 3 champion and the 2021 Formula 2 runner-up.
In 2022 he was a test driver for the Ferrari team in Formula 1. In the 2023 season he will combine his new job with his current commitments at Ferrari.
