Dutch motorcycle rider Brahm van der Wouden died during the Morocco Desert Challenge rally from heat and exhaustion, the competition’s press service reports.
As noted, the incident happened on Thursday. Other participants found him lying next to their motorcycle, van der Wouden was 48 years old.
Brahm seemed to have stopped to rest. The medical team arrived very quickly, but they couldn’t do anything more.
Previously, van der Wouden participated in several rallies, including the Heroes Legend and the Africa Eco Race, in 2022 he participated in the Dakar Rally marathon, but retired prematurely due to an accident.
French sailor Laurent Lichtluchter died on Wednesday during the Morocco Desert Challenge.
