Sprint race to be held in Baku on Saturday
Pilot Ferrari Charles Leclerc became the winner Azerbaijan Grand Prix qualification. Monegasque was 0.188 seconds ahead of the reigning world champion and overall leader Max Verstappen from Red Bull.
Third place in qualifying was taken by another pilot of Red Bull Sergio Perez. The fourth result was shown by Carlos Sainz from Ferrari, the fifth – by Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes).
Also finishing in the top 10 are Fernando Alonso (Aston Martin), Lando Norris (McLaren), Yuki Tsunoda (Alpha Tauri), Lance Stroll (Aston Martin) and Oscar Piastri (McLaren).
The main race of the Azerbaijan Grand Prix will be held on Sunday, April 30. The beginning is at 14:00 Kyiv time. On Saturday, April 29, a sprint race will be held in Baku (beginning at 16:30).
