“Mountain areas where you can break the wheels, skid and fall into traps” – the deputy head of the “Silk Road” about the features of the new route

The first deputy head of the Silk Way project, Viktor Sokolov, spoke on about the characteristics of the new course of the international rally.

The Silk Road will run from July 7 to July 15 on the Kazan-Moscow route. The total distance of the race will be 5,230 kilometers, including 2,350 kilometers of high-speed special stages.

— The track is very interesting and new. For the first time we drive beyond the Ural Mountains, there are really mountainous areas where you can break the wheels, skid and fall into traps. This is a new track for most Russian participants. This year we discovered the Chelyabinsk region, Bashkiria with the beauty of nature and mountains, steppes, ravines and the incredible beauty of birch groves, Sokolov told .
