33 teams took part, this is more than 150 pilots
June 8 the world famous British karting club Daytona Milton Keynes organized a charity endurance race with fundraising in support of Ukraine. All profits from the event were donated to a charitable organization. Siobhan’s Trustwhich provides meals to families and the military at the front line in Kharkov, Odessa, Izyum and Nikolaev.
Karting enthusiasts, local businesses and members of the public participated. The iconic 1200m Daytona Milton Keynes circuit was designed by the late F1 legend James H. Gant. The track was decorated with Ukrainian flags, and the national anthem was played before the start of the race. 33 teams took part, these are more than 150 pilots.
Ukrainian karting driver Oleksandr Bondarev was invited to the event as the best karting driver in Ukraine and one of the leaders in the world ranking in karting.
He was supposed to give start-finish races and award the winners. However, Alexander decided to take part in the race with Team Zelenskyy, which included Mission: Impossible stunt coordinator, stunt driver and racing driver Wade Eastwood, renowned musician Rick Parfitt Junior, Formula 2 star Luciano Bacheta and Daytona CEO Charles.
Team Zelenskyy, having chosen the right tactics and strategy, won the Race for Ukraine charity run. Alexander had the honor to visit and join the charitable support of his country.
